ASPECT MAINTENANCE NOMINATED FOR THE UK FAST

Leading Earlsfield-based property maintenance and refurbishment firm, Aspect Maintenance, is pleased to announce its place as finalist in the Fast Growth Business Awards, organised in conjunction with Growing Business magazine, the UK's most popular title for entrepreneurs.

Aspect Maintenance and has been nominated for Service Business of the Year Award. All 53 finalists are also judged for the T-Mobile Fast Growth Business of The Year. The Awards take place at the London Marriott Hotel on 12 March 2008. Judges include Peter Jones, entrepreneur and star of BBC's Dragons’ Den; Simon Kossoff, MD, Carluccios; Rene Carayol and business guru and TV presenter.

Aspect Maintenance was established in 2004, when Nicky Bizley asked his investment banker friend William Davies to help out on his £500,000 business. Together, in three years Davies and Bizley have built Aspect Maintenance into a £5 m business employing over 100 staff.

The company services the commercial and domestic sector and operates across the city and within the M25. It specialises on all areas of property maintenance from the drains to the roof. As well as providing engineers, it also works on domestic jobs such as putting up shelves and building cupboards. The company also has a refurbishment division which will carry out anything from fitting a new kitchen to large structural works.

Davies states "We are really delighted to be a finalist and to be recognised for our success to date. We are looking forward to pursuing plans to expand our full service offering outside the M25 later this year. The home improvement market in London, particularly, is set to grow this year with an emerging trend for extensions and re-working of existing space as a more economical option to home owners than moving."
